WINNING.....We won the mermaid bowl and are danish national champs. It was the craziest game of the year for us and it came down to the wire. For you guys that watched it you know how exciting it was. For you guys who didn't ya missed out on one of the top 3 games of my life. Molina got MVP and hopefully it doesn't go to his head or i'll have to beat his ass. Mike is gone headed to spain. And I'm here for another year. Back to the important part of the night. 12 O'clock after the game. The second the game was over the party began. I remember about an hour after the game and the rest is hazy after that. It was an awesome night out from what i rememeber and my only goal was to wind up in sweden which unfortunately didn't happen. Instead i ended up wandering the streets of copenhagen with a flanel shirt on with a tie until 12 the next afternoon. I looked dam good. I finally got back on my normal sleep schedule and i'm ready to get back to my normal day to day routine....ps mikkel you look like a toad

In the past 2 weeks a lot has happened. I broke my 4 week sober spell when i went out in copenhagen. which was a wild time. Me and the other alex decided that we would be dumb not to sign andother year with the razorbacks so we did. We'll be back for next yearas season. But most importantly we made it to our 6th straight Mermaid bowl apperance. I really think we should change the name, no offense to people of Denmark but the Mermaid was not the special. I thought it was gonna be some awesome looking statue with water shooting out of it mad of marble and an amazing peice of art. It was a green mermaid about the size of a normal person with pigeons going tot he bathroom on it. I think they should cahnge the name ot the viking bowl or something along those lines. The team seems excited for the game and we plan to play the game of our lives. The next step is october 8th to see if we can make history hope you watch it on tv or go out and support us there.

It's nice to be back seeing everyone and getting the season back on track. The month i was gone i lost lots of brain cells, lost probably half of my liver, definitly lost all my dignity, and have been scared to death were if i wasn't a little drunk i would have pissed myself. I dont know how much i can go into detail because i have to keep this PG-13 rated but it was an epic trip. London england is an awesome city, tons to do people are nice, the beer is good, and the teeth are horrible. The stereotypes are true no offense to any english person reading thi but whie I was in england i saw maybe 3 people whose teeth didn't look like they got hit in with a baseball bat. We met alex's brother when we got there becuase he was running at the yale/harvard vs cambridge/oxford/hogwarts track meet. After the meet we got to go out with all the students and we taight them how to have fun. Barcelona where the women are beyond beautiful. 3 weeks ago i looked black how tan i was, now since i havent seen the sun in a week im back to white. The beache in barcelona were the best beaches i've ever been to in my life. Why you may ask?? there topless. It was an awesome city to go out in an was one of the places i'e had the most fn on my trip. Pamplona, were diginity, shamelessness and pure idiocy come out to play. Well i'm sure you've all heard of the running of the bulls. It by far the biggest party i've ever been to. Buses start dropping people off left and right at 4 in the afternoon and picking up people who can barely stand. Me and Alex unfortunatly didnt catch a bus we took the shameless way of living while we were there. We decided to sleep in a skoda for 2 nights in the bottom of a parking garage where our bathroom was opening the door, our running water was cold bottles of sangrea, and our fridge was a couple bags of chips and more wine. After a bottle of sangrea at 6 in the morning it was desicion time weather to take the risk of possibly dyin by running with the bulls or the smart approach of watching. Of course we picked th idiotic opton and ran. When you see a bull with horns easily the one meter if not more running within 3 feet of you ya either shit yourself or run faster then any other time in your life. Thankfully all i had to do was run. It as a wild time the video is up on facebook if you wanna watch it and it was one of the best experiances of my life. Rome was an awesome city. I enjoyed Rome the most when it came to seeing all the things i've always wanted to. I got to see all the typical tourist places and i played super tourist and got my picture taken infront of everything imaginable. Evetually i got back in the states and got to see my friends and family got to my buddies wedding, and just have an awesome time. ill talk more about home another time becuase it needs to be edited with all the crazy things that went down......... congrats to mads and henning and there familis on there new babies

As of now our team is 4-0 and we have been playing really well. The weather is starting to change and it brings out the best in everyone i feel. The past 2 games we paye the Wolfpack. The first game was a rainy game and on the 4th play i pulled my but muscle which was not fun. After i pulled my muscle i went to the doctor to get a shot. When i got there the doctor he pulled out a needle that was no lie about 5 centimeters and he stabbed me in the but with it. I just abut cried, but i toughed through it. Unfortunitly i tightened my leg how bad it hurt and the needle bent. 2 seconds after i tigheted up he goes ( oops) if you ever hear a doctor say oops its bad news. Long story short he had to give me another shot and i just abut cried. The following week was an off week so we went on an adventure to hamburg. hamburg was fun and there was nothing to do besides drinking beers and me being the very responsible person i am decided to head to sleep at 2130 and get well rested for the next day (no sarcasm at all ha). The followin weekend we played the wolfpack again and i was the D coordinator. So if you guys wonder why they scored a bunch of points its my fault i'm not the smartest person when it comes to calling coverages. Me and Alex are leaving the 22 to head on our eurotrip. Were heading to london for a week. After that to normady and paris for a few days. Then to Barcelona to get some sun and fun. On th 7th were heading to Pamplona for the running of the bulls. So if you don't see or hear from me after that you can guess why. If i make it out of pamplona were heading to rome then back to the states. We'll be back on the 2 of august and i look forward to seeing everyone again.

sore. It was good to get back playing after 2 weeks off. It was a down to the
wire game and we were thankful for everyone who came to watch and stayed until
the end. After the game we went out partying
and from what I remember it was a really good time celebrating with everyone.
The new American has been living with us now for 4 days and see’s to be
enjoying himself. Other than that there’s
not to much going on.

We had our first game, easter week happened and wasn't remembered, and Alex and I took a trip to Dublin. The first game was awesome having the opportunity to get back on the feild in such a short time. The game was good, and i was really happy how it went. There were a few things that we need to work on and long snapping is clearly not one of them. Everyone performed well, but there are always things we need to correct. We got the win and thats all that matters when all is said and done Easter week.... I don't remember all to much of it but it was fun. In the states Easter is celebrated 1 day and thats on sunday the rest of the week everyone is working until sunday and the day is almost looked past. This Easter week was something else. The weather was great so we had an opportunity to hang out at the beach and get some sun. I turn black the second i'm in the sun. Danish people turn red and burn i've come to notice. Beside the beach i did some slave labor for TC and the pay was food and booze so i had no problem with it. If anyone needs yard work done i have no problem doing it for a case of beer and a meal. Ireland was something else. The town is very tourist oriented and there are more pubs then there are grocery stores. We had the opportunity to see most of the city stopping at the Jameson and Guiness manufactorers. The tours were cool and it was nice to see them. Ireland was a fun time, but afte the first 2 days i was ready to get back to Vejle because my body couldn't handle one more day there. Playing on the razorbacks has been an awesome opporunity for me because most people in America dream of coming to europe and traveling around seeing the world, and we were fortunate enough the have that opportuniy. What grind my gears this week is how bad my Teammates are at beer pong. It ha to be the most simple game. You palce 10 cups in a pyramid on the table and you have 2 teams at each end and you have to make the cup. It sounds easy and is easy if you spent most of your days off in college playing it, but jebbe and mj are just terrible at it. When we landed from Ireland i saw the coolest thing in the world upon landing. Tc picked us up from the airport and showed me the news papers. I opened up the middle of it and there was a georgeous playmate right in the center naked. I going to have to start buying the news paper from now on. As of now i need to go pick my brother up from the airport because he's visiting and i need to figure out things to do this week if you have any suggestions comment and i'll use them

This time I’m writing it in a location that helps me clear my mind and gives me great ideas. I'm exhausted from the weekend because we went to copenhagen to see the city, watch the gold diggers play and drink my months salary worth of beers. The drive there wasn't bad but making it at 9 in the morning after spending the majority of the night at tartan pub can lead to a headache ha. We checked into our hotel room and i was shoked at what the hotel was like. In the states all the hotel rooms are spacious with plenty of room to move around. Not in copenhagen ha it was the smallest but it was a good weekend and i had a blast.
Other stuff i did last week was going to the justin beiber concert which was hands down the loudest concert i've been to in my life. His fans blew slayer and mega death fans out of the water. It's crazy how loud teenage girls are. I went skeet shooting were i shot 100 times better then molina because i'm better then him at everything (like usual).
i helped out Peter this week doing manual labor at his house for bread. His tree fort is really coming along it’s really starting to look like a wooden box. I’m scared with all this wind it’s gonna blow over and I’m being completely serious about that. Me and Alex went to go check out the deer in the park the other day and when they were turned away from us I almost ran out of the park because there butts look like wolves. And I’m not trying to get eaten. That’s all I have to say for today besides what grinds my gears. The thing that grinds my gears this week are buses. I rode the bus for the first time the other day and I gave the lady 13 kroners like our coach ken told me to do and she just looked at me. I started to walk in and she started speaking Danish. I asked her to speak in English and her response was are you a kid. I really had to think about that and I said of course. She told me I owed 7 more kroners cause I was an adult and told me to go sit in the back.

My names Alex Polito I just graduated from the University of Connecticut on the first of the year and I figured it’d be a great experience to come to Europe and play some football and see a different culture. I’m apologizing in advance for my poor English grammar skills. My sole objective of this blog is to have more comments and people reading this blog then my roomate .
My first thought of the city was how nice and peaceful it is. Also how helpful everyone is when they realize we don’t speak any Danish (besides the important words). My first month has been very eventful seeing new places around town and finally being able to walk to the gym and back to my apartment without getting lost and having to ask for directions. The sad thing is I live about 500 kilometers away and I only have to take 2 streets to get there. Our apartment is very nice and in a good location. I don’t think our downstairs neighbors like us very much because when the team comes over it gets a little loud (when I say little it means glasses are getting broken, people are screaming, and people running around making the floor sound like it’s going to shatter).
I really like the team a lot the players bring the love for the sport back to me. During college I began to not enjoy football because it because it became a painstaking job that seemed like it would never end. Now everyday is fun and I enjoy practicing unless there’s snow on the field. The players work their asses off and I couldn’t ask for more from any of them. I have complete confidence in the team to accomplish whatever goals they have set in their mind because there great work ethic and drive for success.
Before I end my blog I figured I’d let you in on something’s that grind my gears. The construction workers banging on roof tops and drilling in the streets every morning right when I’m in the middle of getting my beauty sleep is killing me . The other thing is McDonalds. In the states you can buy 10 cheeseburgers for the price you buy one around here, but that doesn’t bother me to much because I won’t eat fast food for the next 6 months. And the lastly the thing that really grinds my gears is my roommate Alex Molina aka the pack rat. I have never in my life seen a kid so little eat so much food he’s like an endless pit and never throws anything out my entire salary will be gone within the next week just feeding him.
I’ll talk to you all soon or see you at the bars.
